IIST invites applications for the following positions :
- Assistant Professor : i n Microwave Components and Circuits/ Computer Network, Protocol/ Power Electronics/ Inertial System and Instrumentation/ Image Processing/ Pattern Recognition/ Computer Vision,Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.7600, Qualification :BE/ B.Tech. or equivalent in Electronics in First class and ME/M.Tech. in first class and Ph.D. in relevant area w significant research contribution, Age : 40 years
- Scientist / Engineer 'SE'(Functional Analysis and Numerical Analysis) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 grade pay Rs.7600, Qualification : M.Sc. Mathematics with First Class with a minimum of 65% or 6.5 CGPA and Ph.D. in Mathematics OR B.Tech. in Computer Science in First class with a minimum aggregate of 65% or 6.5 CGPA and Ph.D. in computer Science. (Those who have submitted Thesis can also apply), Age : 45 years
- Reader : i n Soft Computing, Genetic Algorithm, Machine learning, Image Processing and Fuzzy Logic, Pay : Rs.40000/- consolidated , Qualification : M.Sc. Mathematics with First Class with a minimum of 65% or 6.5 CGPA and Ph.D. in Mathematics OR B.Tech. in Computer Science in First class with a minimum aggregate of 65% or 6.5 CGPA and Ph.D. in computer Science. (Those who have submitted Thesis can also apply), Age : 35 years
