The Institute for Plasma Research is a premier scientific institute under the Department of Atomic Energy; Govt. of India devoted to research and development activities in the areas of basic Plasma Physics, Magnetic Confinement fusion and industrial applications of plasmas. Applications are invited from highly motivated and result oriented candidates for the posts of :

• ENGINEER – SC (MECHANICAL / METALLURGY): 03 Posts
• QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering / Metallurgy having minimum one year working experience .
• SCIENTIST - SC (No. of Posts – 2)
• QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : M.Sc. Physics/Applied Physics (First Class) having minimum one year working experience in research & development activities. Experience in computational electromagnetics, electromagnetic wave propagation will be given preference.
• ENGINEER – SC (ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION) (No. of Post – 1)
• QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Electronics & Communication Engineering having minimum one year working experience in research & development activities. Experience in microwave circuits, instrumentation and measurement will be given preference.
• ENGINEER (PROJECT) (MECHANICAL) (No. of Posts – 5)
• QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering having minimum one year working experience in CAD / CAM / ANSYS Softwares.
• ENGINEER (PROJECT) (CIVIL) (No. of Post – 1)
• QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Civil Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in building construction work and site supervision work and should be computer literate.
• ENGINEER (PROJECT) (ELECTRICAL) (No. of Post – 1)
• QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE : B.E. / B.Tech. / B.Sc. (Engg.) (First Class) in Electrical Engineering having minimum 1 year experience in Design and implementation of electrical (low voltage and high voltage) systems, testing of various electrical systems and cross-integration between disciplines of related engineering fields.
