SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE FOR SC, ST, OBC & Persons with Disabilities

Applications are invited for the following positions in the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) as given below:

• Backlog reserved vacancies for SC/ST/OBC candidates
• Technician Group-II(1): one post
• Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/- (Reserved for OBC candidate )
• Essential Qualification : SSC/10th standard with 50% marks in aggregate and ITI Certificate in Masonary work OR SSSC/HSC/12th with relevant technical subjects with a min. of 60% marks in aggregate.
• Age limit: Upto 28 years. ( Upper age limit relaxable upto 3 years for OBC applicants)
• Technician Group-II(1): one post
• Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1900/- (Reserved for OBC candidate )
• Essential Qualification: SSC/10th standard with 50% marks in aggregate and ITI Certificate in Automobiles trade OR SSSC/HSC/12th with relevant technical subjects with a min. of 60% marks in aggregate.
• Age limit: Upto 28 years. ( Upper age limit relaxable upto 3 years for OBC applicants)

• Scientist-B Group IV (1) (Statistics and Computer Application): One post
• Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15,600-39100 with Grade Pay of ‘Rs.5400 (Reserved for Orthopaedically Handicapped (OH) for unreserved (UR) candidate)
• Essential qualification : First class MCA or M.Sc. in the field of Biological/Life Sciences or Agriculture with specialization in the field of statistics/ biometrics/ population biology/computer application in biological/ agriculture research or Ph.D. in any of the above areas.
• Age limit: 35 years ( Upper age limit relaxable upto 5 years for Orthopaedically handicapped UR applicants ).
• Scientist-B Group IV (1) (Project Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation): One post
• Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15,600-39100 with Grade Pay of ‘Rs.5400 (Reserved for Hearing Handicapped (HH) Scheduled Tribe candidate)
• Essential Qualifications: First class M.Sc. Agriculture/ Plant Science or Ph.D. in one of these fields.
• Age limit : 35 years ( Upper age limit relaxable upto 10 years for Hearing handicapped ST applicants ).
• Jr. Technical Assistant Group-III(1): one post
• Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 ( Reserved for Hearing Handicapped (HH) OBC candidate).
• Essential Qualification : Ist class B.Sc. or its equivalent.
• Age limit: Upto 28 years. ( Upper age limit relaxable upto 8 years for Hearing handicapped OBC applicants)
• Jr. Technical Assistant Group-III(1): one post
• Pay Band-2 of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 (Reserved for Orthopaedically Handicapped (OH) ST candidate).
• Essential Qualification : Ist class B.Sc. or its equivalent
• Age limit : Upto 28 years. (Upper age limit relaxable upto 10 years for Orthopaedically handicapped ST applicants)
• Technician Group-II(1): one post
• Pay Band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900/- (Reserved for Visually Handicapped (VH) UR candidate).
• Essential Qualification : SSC/10th standard with 50% marks in aggregate and ITI Certificate in Agriculture/Horticulture OR SSSC/HSC/12th with relevant technical subjects with a min. of 60% marks in aggregate.
• Age limit : Upto 28 years. (Upper age limit relaxable upto 10 years for Visually handicapped UR applicants)
• Technician Group-II(1): one post
• Pay band-1 of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs. 1900 ( Reserved for hearing handicapped OBC candidate )
• Essential Qualification :: SSC/10th standard with 50% marks in aggregate and ITI Certificate in Carpentary OR SSSC/HSC/12th with relevant technical subjects with a min. of 60% marks in aggregate
• Age limit: Upto 28 years. ( Upper age limit relaxable upto 13 years for Hearing handicapped OBC applicants)
• Regular vacancies.
• Scientist-B Group IV (1) (Entomology): One post
• Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15,600-39100 with Grade Pay of ‘Rs.5400 (Reserved for OBC candidate)
• Essential qualification : First class M.Sc. (Agriculture) Entomology / Zoology-Entomology with Ph.D.
• Age limit: 35 years ( Upper age limit relaxable upto 3 years for OBC applicants ).
• Scientist-B Group IV(1) (Computational Biology/ Bioinformatics): One post
• Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15,600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5400 (Unreserved)
• Essential Qualifications: First class M.Sc. in Biological Sciences with Ph.D.
• Age limit : 35 years ( Upper age limit relaxable as per rule ).
• Jr. Technical Assistant Group-III(1): one post
• Pay band-2 Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/- (Unreserved).
• Essential Qualification : Ist class Diploma in Electrical Engineering of three years full time duration or its equivalent.
