Applications are invited for filling up of following posts purely on Contractual basis from the eligible candidates. The renewal of contract would depend on annual performance appraisal.

• Asstt. Environmental Engineer: Two (2) Posts (Category-Gen.)
• Pay: Rs. 15,600/- per month (fixed).
  Qualification: 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.
• Project Consultant: One (1) Post (Category-Gen.)
• Pay: Rs. 15,600/- per month (fixed).
• Qualification: Ph. D. in relevant discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board with 3 years research / work experience in a reputed institution. Or Masters Degree in Environmental Engineering/ Tech. / Discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board with 6 years research / work experience in a reputed institution.
• Scientific Officer: One (1) Post (Category-Gen.)
• Pay: Rs. 15,600/- per month (fixed).
• Qualification: M. Sc 1st Class in relevant discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.
• Asstt. Law Officer: One (1) Post (Category-Gen.)
• Pay: Rs. 12,090/- per month (fixed).
• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law.
• Work Experience: At least five years experience as an Advocate.
• Jr. Scientific Officer: Two (2) Posts (Category-Gen.)
• Pay: Rs. 12,090/- per month (fixed).
• Qualification: M. Sc Degree in 1st Class in relevant discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences from a recognized university / institution as a regular student.
• Jr. Environmental Engineer: Seven (7) Posts (Category-Gen. = 3, Gen. Ex-Ser. Man=1, Gen. Antodaya/ BPL=1, OBC=1, SC-1 of H.P.)
• Pay: Rs. 10,790/- per month (fixed).
• Qualification: 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.
• Jr. Scientific Assistant: One (1) Post (Category-Gen.)
• Pay: Rs. 10,790/- per month (fixed).
• Qualification: 1st Class M. Sc. Degree in Environmental Science / Chemistry/ Micro- Biology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences from a recognized university / institution as a regular student.
• Jr. Accountant: One (1) Post (Category-OBC of H.P.)
• Pay: Rs. 8,370/- per month (fixed).
• Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from a recognized university/ institution and should have knowledge of Computer operations with at least one year Computer Training Certificate from a recognized / reputed institution.

In addition to above the applications are also invited for filling up of following posts purely on Contractual basis in the Himachal Pradesh State Pollution Control Board under the Sawda Kuddu Hydro Electric Power Project and Central Pollution Control Board, New Delhi funded scheme “National Air Quality Monitoring Programme” (NAMP) respectively from the eligible candidates. The renewal of contract would depend on annual performance appraisal.

• Asstt. Environmental Engineer: One (1) Post
• Pay: Rs. 14,000/- per month (fixed).
• Qualification: 1st Class Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the Board and /or the mandate of the Board.
• Jr. Scientific Assistant: Two (2) Posts
• Pay: Rs. 10,000/- per month (fixed).
• Qualification: 1st Class M. Sc. Degree in Environmental Science / Chemistry/ Micro- Biology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Sciences from a recognized university / institution as a regular student.
